The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkın Talay in the 7th minute of play forced Akyaka JK's goalkeeper Gürol Okay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, euroclub's goalkeeper İsmet Musa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Müfit Azim. When Arkın Talay came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the euroclub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arkın Talay couldn't finish the play. The supporters of euroclub booed when Akyaka JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batuğ Ergüner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Akyaka JK's zone, Arkın Talay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürol Okay came out of the goal and Arkın Talay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atalay Çırakoğlu during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Akyaka JK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Atalay Çırakoğlu hit a great ball. Arkın Talay might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gürol Okay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arkın Talay ran back to his position shaking his head. İsmet Musa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atalay Çırakoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Arkın Talay scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gürol Okay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arkın Talay to strike the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Akyaka JK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! euroclub played a much better game than Akyaka JK and deserved their victory. The Akyaka JK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
