Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ankaragücü's Hurşit Durukan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ahirkapi's İrfan Yamanöz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed İrfan Yamanöz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ahirkapi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and İrfan Yamanöz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Ankaragücü. Aras Sayman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Özmen İlenç. 0-1. Özmen İlenç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hurşit Durukan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Doğa Özdoruk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ankaragücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Doğa Özdoruk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Özmen İlenç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doğa Özdoruk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özmen İlenç having to interfere. A collision led to Ahirkapi getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Tibet Tekmil hit a great ball. If Doğa Özdoruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Doğa Özdoruk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Özmen İlenç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Bekir Dalga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ahirkapi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bekir Dalga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yağızhan Canel made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Dorukhan Baydan sent off a good shot on target. Bekir Dalga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hurşit Durukan in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Özmen İlenç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ahirkapi's goalkeeper Özmen İlenç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Doğa Özdoruk scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özmen İlenç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Doğa Özdoruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Ankaragücü were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bekir Dalga was the one to do the kick off. Doğa Özdoruk in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Özmen İlenç, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 59 minutes into the match, Doğa Özdoruk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Özmen İlenç. Ahirkapi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doğa Özdoruk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Doğa Özdoruk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Özmen İlenç having to make a save. Özmen İlenç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hurşit Durukan in the 65th minute of the match. Ahirkapi's Özmen İlenç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hurşit Durukan in the 68th minute of play. Doğa Özdoruk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Özmen İlenç skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 71st minute Hurşit Durukan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özmen İlenç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahirkapi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Hurşit Durukan scored to the left of an out of position Özmen İlenç, making the score, 0-5. Bekir Dalga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Ahirkapi's goalkeeper Özmen İlenç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doğa Özdoruk. If Doğa Özdoruk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
