İlyas Şafakgün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürbüz Sancaktar having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Merter FK's goalkeeper Gürbüz Sancaktar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Barış Rauf. In the 33rd minute, Mustafa Barış Rauf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. İlyas Şafakgün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46 played minutes Merter FK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Hamit Tayuk. A long shot from Ayvaz Ulucan in the 47th minute of play was well struck, but Gürbüz Sancaktar made a really good save at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Doğa Koralp made the kick off in the second half. When Yahya Kemal Işıldar fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AgREgA's protests and gave Yahya Kemal Işıldar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, AgREgA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yahya Kemal Işıldar to maneuver through the defense. After 63 minutes, Yalçın Sağbilge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merter FK and the AgREgA players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Mustafa Barış Rauf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AgREgA fully deserved thier win.
