Yavuz Selim Toktaş succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. With his leg Atalan Eke managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Kapalicarsi's Yavuz Selim Toktaş fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th minute of the game, Bedri Oğuzalp landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Hulusi Şahsar fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bakkalköy's protests and gave Hulusi Şahsar a yellow card for diving instead. Kapalicarsi made a substitution. Osman Safih replaced Bedri Oğuzalp. A collision led to Bakkalköy getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Hulusi Şahsar hit a great ball. Yavuz Selim Toktaş kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 31stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Bakkalköy's keeper Atalan Eke was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 38 minutes into the match, Yavuz Selim Toktaş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atalan Eke. Bakkalköy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yavuz Selim Toktaş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With his leg Atalan Eke managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Kapalicarsi's Yavuz Selim Toktaş fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Yavuz Selim Toktaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Atalan Eke made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nazım Temirhan was the one to do the kick off. During the 51st minute of the match Hulusi Şahsar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hulusi Şahsar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Kapalicarsi's Güneş Yoran got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Yavuz Selim Toktaş sped through Bakkalköy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Atalan Eke. Tayfun Ruknettin struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Atalan Eke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kapalicarsi. 71 minutes into the match, Kazım Çağlar notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Kapalicarsi's Mansur Baysu. Mansur Baysu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yavuz Selim Toktaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tayfun Ruknettin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yavuz Selim Toktaş in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atalan Eke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atalan Eke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Selim Toktaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
