The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Balmumcu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! 13 minutes into the match, Gölyaka's Abdurrahim Orcun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Volkan Onay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cafer Kunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şakir Mahçupyan having to interfere. Volkan Onay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arın Orbey, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Gölyaka's Arın Orbey in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Balmumcu's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Gölyaka's Necdet Savtuna got a free kick in the 46th minute. Gölyaka's Şakir Mahçupyan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Gölyaka from getting a goal against them. The Balmumcu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gölyaka were winning 0-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ümit Özalpsan during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Balmumcu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Oğuz Vecdi to maneuver through the defense. If Abdurrahim Orcun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Balmumcu's zone, Abdurrahim Orcun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volkan Onay came out of the goal and Abdurrahim Orcun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balmumcu's Volkan Onay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Balmumcu from getting a goal against them. Abdurrahim Orcun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Volkan Onay made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Abdurrahim Orcun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gölyaka's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdurrahim Orcun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volkan Onay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, Balmumcu's goal looked a bit too open when Arın Orbey came free, but Volkan Onay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Abdurrahim Orcun made a precise shot to the right of Volkan Onay. Balmumcu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.
