With an all-out effort, Ikizce FK's Yağız Yeğiner threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Haşmet Kurhan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Akademi17 getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. İsmail Cem Yılkan hit a great ball. Akademi17's Yağız Yeğiner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Akademi17 from getting a goal against them. After 13 minutes, Muharrem Kırgız mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ikizce FK and the Akademi17 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Muharrem Kırgız hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. During the 15th minute of the match Muharrem Kırgız completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Muharrem Kırgız a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Yağız Yeğiner made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Hüsamettin Kamver sent off a good shot on target. Suphi Atabey kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If İsmail Cem Yılkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akademi17's Suphi Atabey managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gazanfer Özcan Baytugay in the 44 minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 86th minute Hüsamettin Kamver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yağız Yeğiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yağız Yeğiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akşemseddin Özenli in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Olcay Orkun Civanbaht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th match minute, Akademi17 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Habib Kadrican to maneuver through the defense. Akademi17 played a much better game than Ikizce FK and deserved their victory. The Ikizce FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
