The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Okan Özakay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İzzettin Ruzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Hayrettin Hunalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cihangir Çırakoğlu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa İzzet Arabacı in the 10th minute of play forced Antalya JK's goalkeeper Okan Özakay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Antalya JK's Yunus Akersoy got a free kick in the 10th minute. Okan Özakay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aşır Çevikcan's late challenge caught a Iskitler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aşır Çevikcan helped the player get up and apologised. If Mustafa İzzet Arabacı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa İzzet Arabacı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Antalya JK's zone, Mustafa İzzet Arabacı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Okan Özakay came out of the goal and Mustafa İzzet Arabacı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Olcay Orkun Birsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okan Özakay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okan Özakay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İzzettin Ruzi's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Mustafa İzzet Arabacı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iskitler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa İzzet Arabacı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mustafa İzzet Arabacı took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Okan Özakay. Okan Özakay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 45th minute, Ali Numan Egesel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mustafa İzzet Arabacı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hayrettin Hunalp made a kick off. Okan Özakay came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Iskitler's Mustafa İzzet Arabacı. But to his dismay, Mustafa İzzet Arabacı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Battal Gazi Yetişen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Okan Özakay. Antalya JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Antalya JK's zone, İzzettin Ruzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Okan Özakay came out of the goal and İzzettin Ruzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa İzzet Arabacı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Okan Özakay made a huge save. İzzettin Ruzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th match minute, Antalya JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yunus Akersoy to maneuver through the defense. İzzettin Ruzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Okan Özakay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Antalya JK's Savaşer Tozun couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Iskitler. If İzzettin Ruzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Iskitler could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Antalya JK throughout the match.
