Alaca's Tanju Siraceddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Akif Acartürk in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Alaca's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Akif Acartürk came free, but Tanju Siraceddin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The tension between the Atasehir and the Alaca players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alaca booed when Atasehir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Refik Gezer didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basri Ünver in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanju Siraceddin saved Alaca from getting behind. Tanju Siraceddin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Akif Acartürk in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Akif Acartürk was the one to do the kick off. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tanju Siraceddin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Atasehir's Oğuzer Zakir got a free kick in the 84th minute. Enis Kurman kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Mehmet Akif Acartürk came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tanju Siraceddin could save by the left post. If Haldun Usbey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
