When Fevzi Canel fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karaman's protests and gave Fevzi Canel a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, Zonguldakspor's Bayındır Tunçkaya threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Osman Nuri Torcan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Zonguldakspor getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Derman Yeğiner hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zonguldakspor's zone, Berker Kadem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dursun Ali İsmail came out of the goal and Berker Kadem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cemil Urgun kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Bayındır Tunçkaya was a little too slow when Osman Nuri Torcan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 29th minute Osman Nuri Torcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayındır Tunçkaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Sancar Soyselçuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dursun Ali İsmail saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46thth minute of the game Berker Kadem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zonguldakspor's Dursun Ali İsmail was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ali Ömer Ünzil made the kick off in the second half. Birkan Sirri kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Ömer Ünzil in the 59th minute of play forced Zonguldakspor's goalkeeper Dursun Ali İsmail to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sancar Soyselçuk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dursun Ali İsmail came out and tried to block the shot, but Sancar Soyselçuk slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute Ali Ömer Ünzil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dursun Ali İsmail saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Ali Ömer Ünzil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zonguldakspor's Dursun Ali İsmail was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Ali Ömer Ünzil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Ömer Ünzil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dursun Ali İsmail having to interfere. The Zonguldakspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Karaman were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
