Feridun Kartay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Aybar Türk made a huge save. In the 46th match minute, Hamur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolga Uğurlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the match Tuncay Saruca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Çelebi Ergüner skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When Tuncay Saruca fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iskenderun's protests and gave Tuncay Saruca a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hamur booed when Iskenderun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuncay Saruca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şafak Tamkoç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Çelebi Ergüner made a huge save. When the match was over Iskenderun could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hamur throughout the match.
