After 16 minutes, Ali Ömer Kural made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ivrindi SK's Öztürk Tokcan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arcan Bicanoğlu's late challenge caught a Ivrindi SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arcan Bicanoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Arcan Bicanoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Mete Esraf fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kırtay's protests and gave Mete Esraf a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Ivrindi SK. Soner Arslanoğlu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anıl Ergüden. 1-2. After 34 minutes, Gökhan Serkan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kırtay and the Ivrindi SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Kırtay got a freekick which was hit by Gökhan Serkan. If Bektaş Yaşam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivrindi SK's Öztürk Tokcan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ivrindi SK from getting a goal against them. Ali Ömer Kural received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Öztürk Tokcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Kırtay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Kayhan Tuğrul scored to the left of an out of position Anıl Ergüden, making the score, 1-3. In the 54th match minute, Ivrindi SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Asalet to maneuver through the defense. Arcan Bicanoğlu didn't quite understand what happened when in the 56 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kayhan Tuğrul in the 59th minute of play forced Kırtay's goalkeeper Anıl Ergüden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kayhan Tuğrul charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kayhan Tuğrul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kırtay booed when Ivrindi SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kayhan Tuğrul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anıl Ergüden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bektaş Yaşam in the 73rd minute. Bektaş Yaşam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Ergüden having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Aybars Akkan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Öztürk Tokcan was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kayhan Tuğrul in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anıl Ergüden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Kırtay's goalkeeper Anıl Ergüden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bektaş Yaşam. Akın Seyfeddin didn't quite understand what happened when in the 88 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybars Akkan in the 90th minute of play forced Ivrindi SK's goalkeeper Öztürk Tokcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Kayhan Tuğrul kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anıl Ergüden. That made the score 1-5 in the 93 minute of play. Anıl Ergüden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cihangir Sarphan in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ivrindi SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
