In the 34th minute, Şanver Umural hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Rüstem Mikail in the 37th minute really tested Oktay Zakir's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Erzurum Spor FK's Arif Bilge Sertaç got a free kick in the 39th minute. Oktay Zakir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kürşat Ahi, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kürşat Ahi was the one to do the kick off. Kürşat Ahi scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oktay Zakir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Bilge Sertaç couldn't finish the play. Erzurum Spor FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
