Nihat İlham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Cevizlibag SK's Mümtazer Dikici got control of the ball when Nihat İlham tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Sakaryaspor getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Enginalp Soytekin hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Ali Berkant Renan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Boran İmam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Boran İmam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aktuğ Kutsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Boran İmam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Berkant Renan went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aktuğ Kutsoy took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Boran İmam. Ahmet Boran İmam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ahmet Hasan Ünzil hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Cevizlibag SK's goalkeeper Mümtazer Dikici had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nihat İlham. Sakaryaspor's Ahmet Boran İmam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aktuğ Kutsoy in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aktuğ Kutsoy in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Boran İmam saved Sakaryaspor from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cevat Kutlay in the 43rd minute of play forced Cevizlibag SK's goalkeeper Mümtazer Dikici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes, Ender Sadan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cevizlibag SK and the Sakaryaspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Cevizlibag SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ender Sadan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cevizlibag SK's Ender Sadan got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Cevat Kutlay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sakaryaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Cevat Kutlay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mümtazer Dikici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The wind increased when Cevat Kutlay made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Cevat Kutlay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mümtazer Dikici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ahmet Hasan Ünzil fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sakaryaspor's protests and gave Ahmet Hasan Ünzil a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sakaryaspor's Ahmet Hasan Ünzil got a free kick in the 55th minute. Akay Artan charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Akay Artan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Akay Artan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A hard shot 68 in the game by Ali Berkant Renan from a close distance when the talented Ahmet Boran İmam managed to make a qualified save. Sakaryaspor's players were relieved. After having played for 71 minutes, Öztürk Turbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sakaryaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Öztürk Turbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Ali Berkant Renan lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Ahmet Boran İmam. With his leg Ahmet Boran İmam managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Cevizlibag SK's Ali Berkant Renan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Cevat Kutlay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sakaryaspor booed when Cevizlibag SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ender Sadan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Sakaryaspor's Mustafa Ekrem Usman tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Cevizlibag SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cevizlibag SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
