If Eray Uskan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ali Erdem Tugal came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Yunak SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Erdem Tugal couldn't finish the play. Yunak SK's Şafak Birsel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halit Fahri Çetinsu in the 9th minute of play. Ali Erdem Tugal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Derviş İhtişam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Ali Erdem Tugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derviş İhtişam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halit Fahri Çetinsu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şafak Birsel having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Halit Fahri Çetinsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şafak Birsel was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The supporters of Aslanapa JK booed when Yunak SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gazanfer Özcan Çetinoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cabbar Şükür during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cabbar Şükür kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Aslanapa JK's Halit Fahri Çetinsu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şafak Birsel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 46 minutes, Cabbar Şükür managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aslanapa JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cabbar Şükür was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Erkan Özkutal hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Şafak Birsel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halit Fahri Çetinsu in the 63rd minute of the match. Cabbar Şükür received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Şafak Birsel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Aslanapa JK's Hıdır Toköz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şafak Birsel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 72 minutes into the game, Halit Fahri Çetinsu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Şafak Birsel. Halit Fahri Çetinsu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Yunak SK's zone, Cabbar Şükür stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şafak Birsel came out of the goal and Cabbar Şükür tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute Ali Erdem Tugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derviş İhtişam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şafak Birsel made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Cabbar Şükür sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute Halit Fahri Çetinsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şafak Birsel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halit Fahri Çetinsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şafak Birsel having to interfere.
