The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hadi Arıkhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enginalp Öktemer charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enginalp Öktemer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kestel's Behçet Olgaç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Kestel from getting a goal against them. Hadi Arıkhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Behçet Olgaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Atabek Coşkuner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Efe Akdurmuş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Ferman Ağın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kestel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferman Ağın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hadi Arıkhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Behçet Olgaç made a huge save. Hadi Arıkhan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Behçet Olgaç when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of TRODOS booed when Kestel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zühtü Eke didn't get a good kick on the ball. TRODOS's Mehmet Efe Akdurmuş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferman Ağın in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match Bektaş Bolat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mehmet Efe Akdurmuş showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Kestel's Ferman Ağın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Efe Akdurmuş narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Behçet Olgaç managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when TRODOS's Hadi Arıkhan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Atabek Coşkuner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Efe Akdurmuş having to make a save. Mehmet Efe Akdurmuş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atabek Coşkuner's shot from short distance in the 49th minute.

Ferman Ağın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Mehmet Efe Akdurmuş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TRODOS's Alphan Muharrem got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes in the game, Ferman Ağın fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mehmet Efe Akdurmuş having to interfere. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ferman Ağın sped through TRODOS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mehmet Efe Akdurmuş. In the 68th match minute, Kestel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celil Öztek to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kestel booed when TRODOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphan Muharrem didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Alphan Muharrem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Behçet Olgaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, TRODOS's Hadi Arıkhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Behçet Olgaç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Kestel getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Atabek Coşkuner hit a great ball. Behçet Olgaç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hadi Arıkhan's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Behçet Olgaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hadi Arıkhan in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferman Ağın got free with Mehmet Efe Akdurmuş in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TRODOS were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Kestel to leave the ground with a draw.
