An unexpectedly hard shot by Arın Ferhat Öksüzoğlu in the 5th minute of play forced Bayindir's goalkeeper Mehmet Ali Yılkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arın Ferhat Öksüzoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Ali Yılkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arın Ferhat Öksüzoğlu in the 9th minute of the match. Hıdır Doğay's late challenge caught a Güzelyali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hıdır Doğay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Güzelyali booed when Bayindir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hıdır Doğay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gani Türünk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturalp Eygül having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Bayindir's Ali Kağan Emek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baturalp Eygül narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arın Ferhat Öksüzoğlu made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Binali Ilımlı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Güzelyali's supporters rose to their feet, but Binali Ilımlı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Ali Yılkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Güzelyali's Baturalp Eygül played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Kağan Emek in the 60th minute of play. Güzelyali's Binali Ilımlı got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arın Ferhat Öksüzoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 68 minutes, Semail Asya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Güzelyali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Semail Asya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gani Türünk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baturalp Eygül was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Mehmet Ali Yılkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arın Ferhat Öksüzoğlu in the 72nd minute of play. The referee ignored Bayindir's protests and gave Ali Kağan Emek a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bayindir getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ali Kağan Emek hit a great ball. Binali Ilımlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Ali Kağan Emek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Ali Yılkan made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Binali Ilımlı sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Binali Ilımlı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Güzelyali fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
