Mehmet Hamdi Acarbey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sefa Batı's late challenge caught a Afyon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sefa Batı helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 17 minutes, Necip Canel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tufanbeyli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Necip Canel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enver Ersoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hamdi Acarbey having to interfere. Onur Baytüze was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, one of Tufanbeyli:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Mehmet Hamdi Acarbey, was totally fooled by Afyon's Ferit Tanacan, who 23 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Muhittin Üner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necip Canel in the 29th minute of play forced Afyon's goalkeeper Erdinç Oruk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Atakan Özdemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Atakan Özdemir kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mehmet Hamdi Acarbey. That made the score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. A hard shot by Ferit Tanacan from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Mehmet Hamdi Acarbey's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Muhittin Üner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. In the 57th minute, Atakan Özdemir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Afyon's goalkeeper Erdinç Oruk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Necip Canel. Muhittin Üner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mehmet Hamdi Acarbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Muhittin Üner put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mehmet Hamdi Acarbey. Mehmet Hamdi Acarbey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Muhittin Üner's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Mehmet Hamdi Acarbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhittin Üner in the 73rd minute of the match. After 84 minutes of play, Afyon's Muhittin Üner made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Hamdi Acarbey was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute, Muhittin Üner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atakan Özdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Baturalp Acabay fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tufanbeyli's protests and gave Baturalp Acabay a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Afyon booed when Tufanbeyli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baturalp Acabay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Muhittin Üner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Hamdi Acarbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhittin Üner in the 99th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Afyon players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
