Devlet Şenalp came out of the goal and Güntekin Kayaalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 played minutes Selim JK got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzcan İribaş. 21 minutes into the match, Selim JK's goal looked a bit too open when Cevdet Ufki came free, but Cenap Taşkıner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Selim JK's Cenap Taşkıner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cevdet Ufki in the 26th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Tekirdağspor got a freekick which was hit by Raik Umar. Selim JK's Kemal Uraltay got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Selim JK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mirkelam Camcı hit a great ball. With his leg Cenap Taşkıner managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Tekirdağspor's Erkut Tunçkılıç fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cevdet Ufki struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Cenap Taşkıner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tekirdağspor. Cevdet Ufki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenap Taşkıner having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cevdet Ufki in the 90th minute of play forced Selim JK's goalkeeper Cenap Taşkıner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cenap Taşkıner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battal Şahin, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
