The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tamer Server might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Taam Abraham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tamer Server ran back to his position shaking his head. Işıkalp Güleçs short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Taam Abraham to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Engin Ersed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eren Kandemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tamer Server received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Taam Abraham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eren Kandemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Engin Ersed having to interfere.
