The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4thth minute of the game Tahsin Ekşioğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sütlüce JK's Emrah Batıkan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sütlüce JK's Emrah Batıkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tahsin Ekşioğlu in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tahsin Ekşioğlu in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emrah Batıkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Oğuzhan Parshan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Acar Çınar came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Sütlüce JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Acar Çınar couldn't finish the play. Nuralp Yücesoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Acar Çınar in the 28th minute. The NEWROZ fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when NEWROZ's Tahsin Ekşioğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Egídio Vilalobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tahsin Ekşioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Tahsin Ekşioğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NEWROZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The Sütlüce JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NEWROZ were winning 0-2.

Emrah Batıkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alifonso Daire in the 53rd minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Sütlüce JK's goal looked a bit too open when Tahsin Ekşioğlu came free, but Emrah Batıkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emrah Batıkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tahsin Ekşioğlu in the 64th minute of play. Tahsin Ekşioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Emrah Batıkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sütlüce JK's Çağrı Olcaytu got a free kick in the 68th minute. Tahsin Ekşioğlu struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Emrah Batıkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NEWROZ. If Oğuzhan Parshan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beyhan Sıraç hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Sait Oğuztan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sütlüce JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sait Oğuztan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuralp Yücesoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Acar Çınar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuralp Yücesoy having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tahsin Ekşioğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emrah Batıkan was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Acar Çınar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuralp Yücesoy having to interfere. NEWROZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
