After a rather tough play, Cerit SK's Çetin Aşık got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Cerit SK's Behçet Eryildiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Cerit SK from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Nadir Abanoz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Behçet Eryildiz. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Cerit SK booed when Kirikhan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Atıf Balkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kirikhan had won after a very even match.
