Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gencal Kuntman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İzzettin Turgut having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Remzi Zeki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naim Hirfanlı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Tahsin Demirkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Demir Şahinalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. İzzettin Turgut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demir Şahinalp in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Demir Şahinalp fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of İzzettin Turgut, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hasan Tahsin Demirkan in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naim Hirfanlı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Şafak Kadem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Şafak Kadem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naim Hirfanlı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Demir Şahinalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Şafak Kadem kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Kula's Demir Şahinalp got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gencal Kuntman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Demir Şahinalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kula's supporters crossed their fingers, but Demir Şahinalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Naim Hirfanlı came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenerbahçe SK's Hayati Oyman. But to his dismay, Hayati Oyman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demir Şahinalp to make the kick off. Hasan Tahsin Demirkan had several of the Kula's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Naim Hirfanlı as he didn't even see the shot coming. With his leg Naim Hirfanlı managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Fenerbahçe SK's Hayati Oyman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 60th minute, Hasan Tahsin Demirkan made a precise shot to the right of Naim Hirfanlı. Kula's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Fenerbahçe SK's İzzettin Turgut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencal Kuntman in the 64th minute of play. Hayati Oyman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Naim Hirfanlı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Kula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yağızalp Uluşahin to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Kula's goal looked a bit too open when Hasan Tahsin Demirkan came free, but Naim Hirfanlı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naim Hirfanlı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hayati Oyman in the 86th minute. A collision led to Kula getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ali Haydar Hizanlı hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Hasan Tahsin Demirkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naim Hirfanlı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Kula getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Güvenç Belek hit a great ball. The long shot by Aysan Ulucan in the 92nd minute really tested Naim Hirfanlı's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Demir Şahinalp came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Kula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demir Şahinalp couldn't finish the play. When Cihat Arslangiray fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenerbahçe SK's protests and gave Cihat Arslangiray a yellow card for diving instead.
