To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sungurhan Zahir in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kudret Kutalmış prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Safranbolu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ardesen were winning 0-1.

Ahmet Danış Torhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emrah Yatuk's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Emrah Yatuk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Danış Torhan.
