After 4 played minutes, Nazimiye JK's Doğan Sağlamer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erenay Ekin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nazimiye JK reached it. Erenay Ekin came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Nazimiye JK's Serkan Bircan. But to his dismay, Serkan Bircan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Serkan Bircan kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Sehitkamil JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selim İnan to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Nazimiye JK's Serkan Bircan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erenay Ekin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zekai Çırağ during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Nazimiye JK got a freekick which was hit by Zekai Çırağ. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Sezen Ekemen sped through Nazimiye JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hayrettin Seçkin. When Yiğit Eker came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Sehitkamil JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yiğit Eker couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Nazimiye JK's Songurhan Baysungur got a free kick in the 28th minute. Yiğit Eker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayrettin Seçkin having to interfere. Nazimiye JK's Zekai Çırağ got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered Zekai Çırağ off the ground. A collision led to Nazimiye JK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Zekai Çırağ hit a great ball. Sezen Ekemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hayrettin Seçkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Sehitkamil JK's Erenay Ekin got control of the ball when Serkan Bircan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Selim İnan's late challenge caught a Nazimiye JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Selim İnan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sehitkamil JK's Selim İnan got a free kick in the 40th minute. 2-2 became the score in the 47th minute when Sezen Ekemen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sezen Ekemen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hayrettin Seçkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selim İnan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yiğit Eker got free with Hayrettin Seçkin in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Sehitkamil JK booed when Nazimiye JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songurhan Baysungur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hayrettin Seçkin made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Yiğit Eker sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 74 minutes, Serkan Bircan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazimiye JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serkan Bircan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Yiğit Eker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 78th minute, Utkan Cinel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yiğit Eker struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Hayrettin Seçkin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sehitkamil JK. Yiğit Eker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Hayrettin Seçkin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
