Bostanci JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bayındır Mehmet Özoğuz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Macit Türkmen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gencay Öktuna having to make a save. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bostanci JK's goalkeeper Ceyhan Sözmen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orkun Balcı's late challenge caught a Rumelikavagi SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orkun Balcı helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Orkun Balcı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nejat Alp Cebe in the 21st minute of play forced Bostanci JK's goalkeeper Ceyhan Sözmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bostanci JK's Ceyhan Sözmen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Bostanci JK from getting a goal against them. Nejat Alp Cebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tuğrul Elhan came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Bostanci JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tuğrul Elhan couldn't finish the play. Gencay Öktuna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuğrul Elhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cumali Tellioğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Macit Türkmen to make the kick off. Ertunç Hanbeyi kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rumelikavagi SK! The goalkeeper, Gencay Öktuna, was totally fooled by Bostanci JK's Halis Öz, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 72nd minute, Macit Türkmen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gencay Öktuna. The goal made the score 2-2. Orkun Balcı hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match Mustafa Orhan Uyguralp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ceyhan Sözmen skillfully saved the ball. In the 83rd minute Ferdi Yılma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceyhan Sözmen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gencay Öktuna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tuğrul Elhan in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Ferdi Yılma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsamettin Özbil in the 88th minute of play forced Bostanci JK's goalkeeper Ceyhan Sözmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gencay Öktuna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macit Türkmen in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Bostanci JK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tuğrul Elhan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Bostanci JK's Cumali Tellioğlu got a free kick in the 96th minute. If Ferdi Yılma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
