Derinkuyu's Özal Özyay got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sercan Şirzat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özal Özyay in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Sertaç Tayfur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vecdi Tanfer. Derinkuyu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sertaç Tayfur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 22 minutes into the game, Sertaç Tayfur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vecdi Tanfer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vecdi Tanfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sertaç Tayfur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tahsin Pekdemir kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Sertaç Tayfur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Vecdi Tanfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karahan Yorgun's late challenge caught a Hanönü JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karahan Yorgun helped the player get up and apologised. Karahan Yorgun hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes, Hanönü JK's Erol Albayrak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vecdi Tanfer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hanönü JK reached it. Metin Korcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 played minutes Hanönü JK got a freekick which was hit by Atay Yaygır. Sercan Şirzat was a little too slow when Aşır Aktemur got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-2. After 48 played minutes Derinkuyu got a freekick which was hit by Aşır Aktemur. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

If Aşır Aktemur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özal Özyay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sercan Şirzat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sertaç Tayfur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vecdi Tanfer having to make a save. If Metin Korcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sercan Şirzat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Derinkuyu's goal looked a bit too open when Bayezit Rikap came free, but Vecdi Tanfer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sercan Şirzat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karahan Yorgun in the 76th minute of play. Vecdi Tanfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sertaç Tayfur in the 80th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Derinkuyu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Hanönü JK's Erol Albayrak got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vecdi Tanfer. The Derinkuyu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hanönü JK's performance. The match ended with a win for Hanönü JK.
