An unexpectedly hard shot by Atıf Esendağ in the 11th minute of play forced Cobanlar FK's goalkeeper Kıvanç Perva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kandemir Yarkın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kıvanç Perva having to interfere. Atıf Esendağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kıvanç Perva having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cobanlar FK's Zaid Şahtürk got a free kick in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baysal Taşkan made a kick off. When Atıf Esendağ came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Cesme fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atıf Esendağ couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Cobanlar FK getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ecevit Abide hit a great ball. Kıvanç Perva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atıf Esendağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Kıvanç Perva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kandemir Yarkın went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Kandemir Yarkın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. Cesme's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
