Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sürmene's Abdulhamit Tuner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Özalp Sabir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 minutes of play, Sürmene's Ünal Karhan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evren Cenan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sürmene's Ünal Karhan got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulhamit Tuner in the 14th minute of play forced Denizli's goalkeeper Evren Cenan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evren Cenan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulhamit Tuner in the 15th minute of play. Ünal Karhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes of play, Denizli's Özalp Sabir made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet İlhan Vuralhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th match minute, Denizli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferid İbrahimoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Ünal Karhan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evren Cenan having to make a save. Evren Cenan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Altuğ Şahin in the 45th minute of play. Ferid İbrahimoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferid İbrahimoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Denizli getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ferid İbrahimoğlu hit a great ball. Sürmene's Abdulhamit Tuner got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ünal Karhan in the 55th minute of play forced Denizli's goalkeeper Evren Cenan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet İlhan Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özalp Sabir in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Bedri Çubukcu during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sürmene booed when Denizli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Bedri Çubukcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merih Uraltan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Ahmet İlhan Vuralhan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Abdulhamit Tuner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ünal Karhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özalp Sabir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ahmet İlhan Vuralhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Özalp Sabir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denizli's supporters rose to their feet, but Özalp Sabir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet İlhan Vuralhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abdulhamit Tuner struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Evren Cenan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sürmene. Merih Uraltan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denizli's Özalp Sabir was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
