Orçun İlhanoğlu started the match with the kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kırlıoglu Futbol Kulübü reached it. In the 8th minute Cankut Ünüvar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serhat Akartürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bektaş Ali Karluk hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The supporters of Karpuzlu FK booed when Kırlıoglu Futbol Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gazanfer Saraç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serhat Akartürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orçun İlhanoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferit Gökdoğan in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alper Eralkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Erdem Onatsu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Serhat Akartürk. Kırlıoglu Futbol Kulübü's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Serhat Akartürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orçun İlhanoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Necmi Sidar got free with Alper Eralkan in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Aykut Baysal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serhat Akartürk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Necmi Sidar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alper Eralkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferit Gökdoğan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Karpuzlu FK defense, Necmi Sidar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alper Eralkan. The Karpuzlu FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alper Eralkan should have stopped the shot. After having played for 86 minutes, Ferit Gökdoğan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kırlıoglu Futbol Kulübü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferit Gökdoğan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Necmi Sidar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alper Eralkan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 92 minutes into the game, Kırlıoglu Futbol Kulübü's Doğukan Devrim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alper Eralkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kırlıoglu Futbol Kulübü fully deserved thier win.
