After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Süruri İlkay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edeler FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Süruri İlkay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 27 minutes, Gökmen Sözmen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agili SK and the Edeler FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mehmet Osman Özyay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esat Pozan in the 28th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Selçuk Türkdoğan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agili SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edeler FC the free kick. The supporters of Edeler FC booed when Agili SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selçuk Türkdoğan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Edeler FC's Esat Pozan tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esat Pozan in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Osman Özyay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edeler FC's Süruri İlkay got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 41 in the game by Süruri İlkay from a close distance when the talented Mehmet Osman Özyay managed to make a qualified save. Agili SK's players were relieved. Esat Pozan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Osman Özyay having to interfere. Şaban Karacabey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Mehmet Osman Özyay made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Sabit Yalınay made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Agili SK's Sabit Yalınay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arif Tugay Özboga. Arif Tugay Özboga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Mehmet Osman Özyay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seyfettin Erseven in the 57th minute of the match. Mehmet Osman Özyay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seyfettin Erseven's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Seyfettin Erseven scored 1-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Osman Özyay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Seyfettin Erseven hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Berat Bekdil kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Edeler FC's Arif Tugay Özboga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabit Yalınay in the 85th minute of play. Mehmet Osman Özyay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esat Pozan in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Edeler FC's Berat Bekdil got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Alkan Keremşah sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Edeler FC's Arif Tugay Özboga didn't even have to move. 93 minutes into the match, Süruri İlkay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Osman Özyay. Agili SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Süruri İlkay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the referee ended the match the Edeler FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
