The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Metehan Nedret to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Gökhan Evcimen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tavsancil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beşiktaş the free kick. After having played for 68 minutes, Metehan Nedret managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beşiktaş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Metehan Nedret was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Orhan Baş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metehan Nedret, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute.
