Lemi Harzemşah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çelebi Dikmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 14 in the game by Atilla Omural from a close distance when the talented Muzaffer Sabuncu managed to make a qualified save. Ayas's players were relieved. If Korkut Egelioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korkut Egelioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayiralan were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Ayas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lütfi Humbaracıbaşı took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Lütfi Humbaracıbaşı got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Muzaffer Sabuncu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 45th match minute, Ayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Özarkın to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orhan Şanberk was the one to do the kick off. After 57 minutes, Baturay Çelebioğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cayiralan and the Ayas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ayas's Muzaffer Sabuncu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Omural in the 59th minute of play. Cayiralan's Lemi Harzemşah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Cayiralan from getting a goal against them. Çelebi Dikmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Korkut Egelioğlu took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muzaffer Sabuncu. Muzaffer Sabuncu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cayiralan's Atilla Omural got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Atilla Omural shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muzaffer Sabuncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ayas's zone, Korkut Egelioğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muzaffer Sabuncu came out of the goal and Korkut Egelioğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Korkut Egelioğlu made a precise shot to the right of Muzaffer Sabuncu. Ayas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Lemi Harzemşah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhan Şanberk in the 92nd minute of the match. Çelebi Dikmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lemi Harzemşah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cayiralan's zone, Orhan Şanberk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lemi Harzemşah came out of the goal and Orhan Şanberk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ayas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
