An unexpectedly hard shot by Batu Cem Rıdvan in the 38th minute of play forced Eskihisar JK's goalkeeper Onur Delfin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Üzeyir Akçiçek got free with Polat Kartay in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nusret Sirri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Batu Cem Rıdvan made the kick off in the second half. Üzeyir Akçiçek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polat Kartay having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Uluç İpekçi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eskihisar JK's Onur Delfin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Eskihisar JK from getting a goal against them. Nusret Sirri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onur Delfin having to interfere. Polat Kartay came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Eskihisar JK's Uluç İpekçi. But to his dismay, Uluç İpekçi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Onur Delfin made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Nusret Sirri sent off a good shot on target. When Enver Savgat fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Afyon SK's protests and gave Enver Savgat a yellow card for diving instead. After 98 played minutes Afyon SK got a freekick which was hit by Enver Savgat. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Eskihisar JK had won after a very even match.
