Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Güralp Göçmen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mustafa İzzet Toprak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Onur İmar made a huge save. If Nedim Akçakan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Yüksel Sait left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harbiye FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 26 minutes into the game, Güralp Göçmen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Onur İmar. Güralp Göçmen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Mustafa İzzet Toprak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yüksel Sait struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Varol Baycan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harbiye FK. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Nedim Akçakan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harbiye FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nedim Akçakan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Varol Baycan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Güralp Göçmen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Onur İmar. That made the score 2-1 in the 48 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nedim Akçakan to make the kick off. A collision led to Harbiye FK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mustafa Hamit Tüzün hit a great ball. Güralp Göçmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Onur İmar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Altintas SK's Mustafa İzzet Toprak got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nedim Akçakan struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Varol Baycan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harbiye FK. When Yüksel Sait came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Harbiye FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yüksel Sait couldn't finish the play. Nedim Akçakan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Varol Baycan having to interfere. Varol Baycan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yüksel Sait in the 65th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Gökhan Atay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harbiye FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altintas SK the free kick. After 77 played minutes Harbiye FK got a freekick which was hit by Gökhan Atay. Harbiye FK's Onur İmar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa İzzet Toprak in the 82nd minute of play. After 87 minutes, Ulaş Şenol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harbiye FK and the Altintas SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Harbiye FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulaş Şenol to maneuver through the defense. Harbiye FK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Altintas SK had won, even though Harbiye FK had held more of the ball.
