In the 4th minute, Sümer Demircan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nazmi Arıtan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Atalan Sebati left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cinar SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 14th minute, Tansel Akalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atalan Sebati charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atalan Sebati the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vanspor FK booed when Cinar SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atalan Sebati didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Doğa Talay managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Vanspor FK's Varol Dilsaz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Tansel Akalp put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Vanspor FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cinar SK:s goal. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Cinar SK. Vacid Acunman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Murat Selim Tezalp. 0-2. If Varol Dilsaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Vanspor FK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Eralp Özerhan hit a great ball. Nazmi Arıtan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murat Selim Tezalp having to interfere. When Vanspor FK's Varol Dilsaz in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cinar SK's goalie prevented a goal. Kubat Yalavaç's late challenge caught a Cinar SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kubat Yalavaç helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half Cinar SK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Varol Dilsaz made a kick off. Efekan Özsahin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğa Talay having to interfere. When Vanspor FK's Varol Dilsaz in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cinar SK's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Cinar SK defense, Varol Dilsaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doğa Talay. The Cinar SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doğa Talay should have stopped the shot. Varol Dilsaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğa Talay having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Kubat Yalavaç made a precise shot to the right of Doğa Talay. Cinar SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 70th minute Varol Dilsaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğa Talay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Ali Nabi Çağakan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eralp Özerhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doğa Talay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Varol Dilsaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eralp Özerhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğa Talay having to interfere. After some careless play in the Vanspor FK defense, Mustafa Necati Barlas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murat Selim Tezalp. The Vanspor FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murat Selim Tezalp should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Cinar SK's Uluç Samih got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Abdulvahit Kuntman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vanspor FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdulvahit Kuntman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doğa Talay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Varol Dilsaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Doğa Talay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
