Edgar Mogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lokman Kılıçaslan in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Remzi Özil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erim Girgin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Hamza Sözmen's late challenge caught a MeRSiN SpOr's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lokman Kılıçaslan was the one to do the kick off. If Felipe Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faruk Nafiz Süleymanoğlu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erim Girgin. Susuz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edgar Mogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lokman Kılıçaslan in the 67th minute of play. Edgar Mogren acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from İlhami Adanır. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MeRSiN SpOr fully deserved thier win.
