After a rather tough play, Ofspor SK's Balaban İçten got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Gencalp Turan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özgüzeldere's Mete Yaslı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Özgüzeldere from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Özgüzeldere booed when Ofspor SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kuddusî Afgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cesur Akşin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Şevket Gayret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halit Ziya Oba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cesur Akşin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Halit Ziya Oba was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Özgüzeldere's Mete Yaslı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayram Kayı in the 26th minute of play. Osman Ali Böke's late challenge caught a Ofspor SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osman Ali Böke helped the player get up and apologised. Bayram Kayı struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Mete Yaslı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ofspor SK. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Bayram Kayı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ofspor SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bayram Kayı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mete Yaslı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Halit Ziya Oba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şevket Gayret, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Cesur Akşin came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Özgüzeldere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesur Akşin couldn't finish the play. After 44 played minutes Ofspor SK got a freekick which was hit by Balaban İçten. Özgüzeldere's Cesur Akşin got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bayram Kayı made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Özgüzeldere's goal looked a bit too open when Gencalp Turan came free, but Mete Yaslı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Ofspor SK's goalkeeper Halit Ziya Oba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesur Akşin. 61 minutes into the match, Şevket Gayret dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Halit Ziya Oba, 0-1. Halit Ziya Oba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şevket Gayret in the 65th minute of play. Cesur Akşin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Halit Ziya Oba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesur Akşin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Ziya Oba having to interfere. Özgüzeldere's Mete Yaslı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayram Kayı in the 80th minute of play. Halit Ziya Oba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şevket Gayret in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Ofspor SK defense, Cesur Akşin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Halit Ziya Oba. The Ofspor SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halit Ziya Oba should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Ofspor SK booed when Özgüzeldere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osman Ali Böke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesur Akşin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Halit Ziya Oba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Şevket Gayret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özgüzeldere played a much better game than Ofspor SK and deserved their victory. The Ofspor SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
