Pülümür JK's Hamdi Şahoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencalp Turan in the 8th minute of play. When Berkay Hazarbeyoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ofspor SK's protests and gave Berkay Hazarbeyoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. If Mesut Aydemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halit Ziya Oba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güntekin Asır in the 14th minute of the match. Though ot was a great shot Ofspor SK's keeper Halit Ziya Oba was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The referee showed Güneri Tarkan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ofspor SK booed when Pülümür JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güneri Tarkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bayram Kayı came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Ofspor SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bayram Kayı couldn't finish the play. Gencalp Turan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdi Şahoğlu having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Güntekin Asır got free with Halit Ziya Oba in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Güntekin Asır's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Halit Ziya Oba firmly grabbed it by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mesut Aydemir to make the kick off. Bayram Kayı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 54 minutes into the match, Ofspor SK's Bayram Kayı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hamdi Şahoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
