After 4 minutes, Özcan Olgunsoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Alkolikler and the Cakirlar players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özcan Olgunsoy in the 14th minute of play forced Cakirlar's goalkeeper Ulaş Kaymaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Haldun Aksoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Haldun Aksoy fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ulaş Kaymaz, passed just outside the right post. Ulaş Kaymaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Özcan Olgunsoy's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Haldun Aksoy struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ulaş Kaymaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Alkolikler. When Songurbey Serafet fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cakirlar's protests and gave Songurbey Serafet a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Cakirlar got a freekick which was hit by Songurbey Serafet. Erkan Salih hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Bahri Türkcan from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Ulaş Kaymaz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, Cakirlar's Ulaş Kaymaz got control of the ball when Haldun Aksoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haldun Aksoy succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 30th playminute. Songurbey Serafet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haldun Aksoy in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulaş Kaymaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Cakirlar's goal looked a bit too open when Haldun Aksoy came free, but Ulaş Kaymaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Alkolikler's Özcan Olgunsoy got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Özcan Olgunsoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erkan Salih hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Özcan Olgunsoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Turan Tahir kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Melih Kutlar charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melih Kutlar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulaş Kaymaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haldun Aksoy's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Haldun Aksoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulaş Kaymaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute Özcan Olgunsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulaş Kaymaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özcan Olgunsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulaş Kaymaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After having played for 80 minutes, Özcan Olgunsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Alkolikler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özcan Olgunsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Haldun Aksoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haldun Aksoy scored 4-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulaş Kaymaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Alkolikler fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! In the 96th minute, Songurbey Serafet fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tanju Ural, passed just outside the right post. FC Alkolikler's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
