Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Emrah Erseven in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afşin Terzioğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Köksal Bahadır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Büyükada JK's zone, Gencalp Olgaç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cüneyd Akgün came out of the goal and Gencalp Olgaç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the game, Devran Sinan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cüneyd Akgün was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mehmet Emrah Erseven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Büyükada JK fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Büyükada JK's Köksal Bahadır looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 36 minutes into the game, one of Büyükada JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Büyükada JK:s Cüneyd Akgün showed great skill when he stopped Muhsin Aktaş:s penalty. Cüneyd Akgün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhsin Aktaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Özden Ekemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Devran Sinan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cüneyd Akgün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Bagcilar FK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Gökalp Ekincioğlu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devran Sinan in the 65th minute of play forced Büyükada JK's goalkeeper Cüneyd Akgün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Büyükada JK's Cüneyd Akgün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devran Sinan in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Gencalp Olgaç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bagcilar FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gencalp Olgaç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Mehmet Emrah Erseven ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afşin Terzioğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Büyükada JK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Büyükada JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
