With a little luck, Lapseki's Batıhan Özonder got control of the ball when Karl-Axel Liljeström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beşikdüzüspor FC's goalkeeper Bülent Akdurmuş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Sadettin Arıkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Beşikdüzüspor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Balamir Tecmil came free, but Bülent Akdurmuş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sadettin Arıkan in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bülent Akdurmuş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lapseki! The throw-in from Alim Kökşin in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Beşikdüzüspor FC's Cesar Narria. In the 46th minute of the match, Cesar Narria tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Batıhan Özonder saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

Sadettin Arıkan charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sadettin Arıkan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lapseki's Sadettin Arıkan got a free kick in the 70th minute. A collision led to Beşikdüzüspor FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Abidin Özgebay hit a great ball. When Alkın Bolat was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. After 96 played minutes Lapseki got a freekick which was hit by Alkın Bolat. The Lapseki supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lapseki would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
