After 8 played minutes Nurdagi FK got a freekick which was hit by Utkan Danış. Yusuf Ziya Seccac kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some careless play in the AkdemirGücü defense, Resul Naim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emir Cihaner. The AkdemirGücü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emir Cihaner should have stopped the shot. Reha Peyami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muharrem Ural in the 17th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Muharrem Ural got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Yusuf Ziya Seccac was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Yusuf Ziya Seccac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emir Cihaner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldıray Canaydin in the 24th minute of the match. When İnanç Tamkut fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AkdemirGücü's protests and gave İnanç Tamkut a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute Utkan Danış shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emir Cihaner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Nurdagi FK's goalkeeper Reha Peyami had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muharrem Ural. After 43 minutes of play, Nurdagi FK's Abidin Bicanoğlu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emir Cihaner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Muharrem Ural sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Utkan Danış was the one to do the kick off. Baha Gazir might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reha Peyami. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
