With an all-out effort, Sarköy's Cüneyt Ilgaz threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Harun Abay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Harun Abay in the 23rd minute of play forced Kizilirmak's goalkeeper Cüneyt Ilgaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Although Sarköy had been in control for most of the match, Kizilirmak still came away with the win.
