The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Uğurcan Cakir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Müjdat Savtekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uğurcan Cakir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Süruri Hekim in the 3rd minute of the match. Müjdat Savtekin hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Toby Haley struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Serter Yaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BEŞİKTAŞ. Toby Haley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serter Yaves having to interfere. In the 9thth minute of the game Süruri Hekim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEŞİKTAŞ's Uğurcan Cakir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Toby Haley managed to get in a good position for a shot. BEŞİKTAŞ's supporters rose to their feet, but Toby Haley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serter Yaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Süruri Hekim put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Uğurcan Cakir. Uğurcan Cakir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Süruri Hekim's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Joey Labitte kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Uğurcan Cakir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süruri Hekim in the 16th minute of play. Uğurcan Cakir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slawomir Cisek, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th match minute, BEŞİKTAŞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joey Labitte to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Süruri Hekim in the 19th minute of play forced BEŞİKTAŞ's goalkeeper Uğurcan Cakir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Müjdat Savtekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uğurcan Cakir having to make a save. BEŞİKTAŞ were furious when Júlio Mattos was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in BEŞİKTAŞ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! BEŞİKTAŞ:s Uğurcan Cakir showed great skill when he stopped Müjdat Savtekin:s penalty. 27 minutes into the match, Müjdat Savtekin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uğurcan Cakir. BEŞİKTAŞ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Müjdat Savtekin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Müjdat Savtekin scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uğurcan Cakir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Müjdat Savtekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Uğurcan Cakir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Süruri Hekim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Süruri Hekim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Uğurcan Cakir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Süruri Hekim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uğurcan Cakir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ's goal looked a bit too open when Müjdat Savtekin came free, but Uğurcan Cakir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Eregli SK were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sem Paciência to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Süruri Hekim notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of BEŞİKTAŞ's Uğurcan Cakir. Uğurcan Cakir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th minute Müjdat Savtekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uğurcan Cakir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uğurcan Cakir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Müjdat Savtekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Süruri Hekim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Uğurcan Cakir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. BEŞİKTAŞ's Uğurcan Cakir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Cisek in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, BEŞİKTAŞ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berti Oberacher to maneuver through the defense. Müjdat Savtekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Uğurcan Cakir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BEŞİKTAŞ's Berti Oberacher got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Eregli SK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
