The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes, Enginsu Başar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Werder Weremem and the Bakkalköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Werder Weremem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enginsu Başar to maneuver through the defense. Harun Kıvılcım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Orhan Uyguner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Nasir Ulusan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Harun Kıvılcım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute Fikri Tun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamza Veli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Fikri Tun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Nasir Ulusan was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Orhan Uyguner capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orhan Uyguner really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 26th minute, Fikri Tun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Ali Cengiz Uçbeyi made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Nasir Ulusan. Bakkalköy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Alphan Honazlı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harun Kıvılcım took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamza Veli. Hamza Veli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Fikri Tun kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 48th minute, when Werder Weremem's Ahmet Bülent Yöntem after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Ahmet Nasir Ulusan in Bakkalköy's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch.

After having played for 52 minutes, Faik Tunçbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Werder Weremem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faik Tunçbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Cengiz Uçbeyi in the 57th minute of play forced Bakkalköy's goalkeeper Ahmet Nasir Ulusan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Hüseyin Can Arabacı made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Nasir Ulusan. Bakkalköy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. 77 minutes into the game, Werder Weremem's Enginsu Başar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Nasir Ulusan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-2. Ahmet Nasir Ulusan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Can Arabacı in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cevher Taib during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89thth minute of the game Alphan Honazlı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Werder Weremem's Hamza Veli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Faik Tunçbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harun Kıvılcım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Nasir Ulusan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bektaş Evliya, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Ahmet Nasir Ulusan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin Can Arabacı in the 95th minute of the match. Dinçer Üstündağ's late challenge caught a Werder Weremem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinçer Üstündağ helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bakkalköy's Dinçer Üstündağ got a free kick in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Werder Weremem fully deserved thier win.
