Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mustafa Namık Uyaralp got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Akşemseddin Nebahattin got free with Sabit Safir in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, тrαвzoɴѕpor's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Vedat Seyhun came free, but Recep Tayyip Şah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Recep Tayyip Şah came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by istanbul's Ahmet Kadri Rasih. But to his dismay, Ahmet Kadri Rasih quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 11 played minutes тrαвzoɴѕpor got a freekick which was hit by Ekrem İmar. İbrahim Ethem Ulgu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabit Safir made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Akşemseddin Nebahattin sent off a good shot on target. İbrahim Ethem Ulgu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Recep Tayyip Şah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Kadri Rasih, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game İbrahim Ethem Ulgu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but тrαвzoɴѕpor's Recep Tayyip Şah was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ahmet Kadri Rasih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Ali Vedat Seyhun made a precise shot to the right of Recep Tayyip Şah. тrαвzoɴѕpor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. тrαвzoɴѕpor's Recep Tayyip Şah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Kadri Rasih in the 36th minute of play. Ahmet Kadri Rasih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Recep Tayyip Şah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melker Eriksson in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İbrahim Ethem Ulgu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ahmet Kadri Rasih left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The istanbul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Akşemseddin Nebahattin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabit Safir having to interfere. When Tacettin İlhan fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored istanbul's protests and gave Tacettin İlhan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to istanbul getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tacettin İlhan hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes, тrαвzoɴѕpor's Timur Erseven shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sabit Safir came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in тrαвzoɴѕpor reached it. After 58 played minutes istanbul got a freekick which was hit by Tacettin İlhan. istanbul were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after тrαвzoɴѕpor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. kaya Başhekim took the corner. kaya Başhekim made a great header on istanbul's corner, it was just that тrαвzoɴѕpor's Recep Tayyip Şah managed to reach the ball for a save. 67 minutes into the game, istanbul's Melker Eriksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Recep Tayyip Şah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Ali Vedat Seyhun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77thth minute of the game İbrahim Ethem Ulgu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but тrαвzoɴѕpor's Recep Tayyip Şah was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Vedat Seyhun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, тrαвzoɴѕpor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bican Adalıoğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ali Vedat Seyhun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bican Adalıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over istanbul could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than тrαвzoɴѕpor throughout the match.
