The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Ahmet Seyfi Yücel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Reha Erguvan. Perlinhas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Seyfi Yücel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rıfkı Hazar in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ahmet Reha Erguvan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 9 played minutes Diriliş Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Şakir Babayiğit. A collision led to Perlinhas FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Yaser Uygar hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Tevfik İlksel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 14 minutes, Ferhan Yılkan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perlinhas FC and the Diriliş Trabzonspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Perlinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferhan Yılkan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rıfkı Hazar got free with Ahmet Reha Erguvan in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 played minutes Perlinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferhan Yılkan. Yaser Uygar kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Rıfkı Hazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Özkan Battal scored 2-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ergin Tüzel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Şakir Babayiğit hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Aytek Baykurt hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Rıfkı Hazar made the kick off in the second half. If Tevfik İlksel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th minute, Ferhan Yılkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Birant Nezih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Reha Erguvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Diriliş Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Seyfi Yücel to maneuver through the defense. Özkan Battal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergin Tüzel having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Perlinhas FC's Ferhan Yılkan got a free kick in the 71st minute. Tevfik İlksel took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Reha Erguvan. Ahmet Reha Erguvan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ahmet Reha Erguvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıfkı Hazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Özkan Battal struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ergin Tüzel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perlinhas FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıfkı Hazar in the 81st minute of play forced Perlinhas FC's goalkeeper Ahmet Reha Erguvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Reha Erguvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rıfkı Hazar in the 84th minute of the match. Ahmet Reha Erguvan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rıfkı Hazar's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Perlinhas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rıfkı Hazar came free, but Ahmet Reha Erguvan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Reha Erguvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birant Nezih in the 90th minute of the match. The Diriliş Trabzonspor fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Diriliş Trabzonspor's Rıfkı Hazar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Diriliş Trabzonspor fully deserved thier win.
