In the 16th minute, Tünel's Mirkelam Hasankeyf seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mirkelam Hasankeyf the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tünel protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mirkelam Hasankeyf had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tünel! Ahmet Ömür Seylab placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The crowd rose to their feet as Baturay Mirac kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Halil Salman. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Alkan Yafes might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Halil Salman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alkan Yafes ran back to his position shaking his head. Dawid Kaczanek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdullah Dölek went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Ömür Seylab's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Halil Salman was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 38th match minute, Tünel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lütfü Şencan to maneuver through the defense. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdullah Dölek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Muammer Uygar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tünel's supporters rose to their feet, but Muammer Uygar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dawid Kaczanek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 61 played minutes Tünel got a freekick which was hit by Doğukan Beysan. After a defensive mix-up in Tünel's zone, Ahmet Ömür Seylab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halil Salman came out of the goal and Ahmet Ömür Seylab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the game, Anzhelo Teofanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Halil Salman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute Ahmet Ömür Seylab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halil Salman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk booed when Tünel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muammer Uygar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Alkan Yafes made a precise shot to the right of Halil Salman. Tünel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Abdullah Dölek managed to get in a good position for a shot. After some careless play in the Tünel defense, Ahmet Ömür Seylab kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Halil Salman. The Tünel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halil Salman should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's Alkan Yafes got a free kick in the 87th minute. Lütfü Şencan hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ahmet Ömür Seylab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil Salman having to interfere. Halil Salman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alkan Yafes in the 96th minute of play. Baturay Mirac hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
