The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joam Anduaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by 杨宁升 in the 3rd minute. Reşat Savaş hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute ATATÜRK GENÇLİĞİ were awarded a corner. The supporters of ATATÜRK GENÇLİĞİ booed when SUNGURLUSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kerimhan Akçalı didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Ümit Onbulak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joam Anduaga. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of SUNGURLUSPOR booed when ATATÜRK GENÇLİĞİ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batıray Yatman didn't get a good kick on the ball. SUNGURLUSPOR's Ahmet Turan Altuğ got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joam Anduaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Turan Altuğ in the 70th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Seyfullah Hattat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATATÜRK GENÇLİĞİ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SUNGURLUSPOR the free kick. Seyfullah Hattat hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Remzi Uzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in ATATÜRK GENÇLİĞİ's zone, Ahmet Turan Altuğ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joam Anduaga came out of the goal and Ahmet Turan Altuğ tried to chip the ball over his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SUNGURLUSPOR fans cheered their team off the field, for while ATATÜRK GENÇLİĞİ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
