In the 29th minute Hafız Çubukcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nurkan Haylaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nurkan Haylaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serbülent Ufki in the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Serbülent Ufki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Asseca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Serbülent Ufki came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the SC Asseca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serbülent Ufki couldn't finish the play. Taner Vahdet scored 2-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doğa Rıza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Ankara Gençlik ve Spor's Şerif Celilay got a free kick in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the match, SC Asseca's goal looked a bit too open when Taner Vahdet came free, but Doğa Rıza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Taner Vahdet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doğa Rıza was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
